ISPC supports Single-Payer Legislation in Illinois and Nationally!
When is a plan, policy, or legislation true Single-Payer/Improved Medicare for All? Ideally, when it:
- Covers everyone living in the US
- Provides comprehensive coverage for medically necessary care
- Eliminates premiums. copays, and deductibles
- Excludes insurance companies
- Streamlines billing and administration
- Allows patiens to see the doctor of their choice
- Is not-for-profit
Currently, there are exciting developments taking place on the federal level, in both houses of Congress. A great deal is in flux. Come back to this page later to see the latest developments.
