About Us

The Illinois Single-Payer Coalition is a grassroots alliance of people and organizations throughout Illinois working to enact a single-payer health system – Improved Medicare for All.  We seek a publicly financed system that provides comprehensive health care and free choice of providers for everyone in the United State, from birth to death.

Because we are a non-profit, educational and advocacy organization with IRS 501(c)3 status, your contributions to us are tax-deductible. We do not endorse political candidates, but do work to educate lawmakers, as well as the general public, about the social, health, and fiscal benefits of a single-payer system.
